Poems from Tabitha Ookami
Pain stained red
Gained with lead
Bullet wounds
Gunpowder
Sounded louder
Than the silence
In most sense
Is more sore
Silent
Violent...
Blood
Dripping down
Mud
On the gown
Shatter
Flatter
That is sown
In woe
Of the snow
Through town
And song
With sharp words
And long...
Panda
Oh delightful panda
Of the sunlight
And green shoots
Of the great night
And sharp roots
With masks of black
And cracks of wood
Oh...
Rain crashes
Hard pitter patter
Loud booms echo
The sky covers holy cotton blankets
Little streams trickle
Muddy water under bridges...
A large wooden box sits on a table
Oak with vines of cedar
The box was locked
With latches tight
Filled with wishes
Filled with dreams...
